Mike O’Shell

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my online portfolio.  I’m a self-taught, landscape photographer who has spent most of my life in Coastal Virginia.  I love the Southern charm and coastal scenery of this area. The beach is my favorite subject to shoot, and it is well represented in my work from Virginia Beach, to The Outer Banks, and throughout Florida. I focus on landscape photography because I love capturing the natural and often surreal scenes that remind people how beautiful these places can be. 

I have created all my photographs with Nikon DSLR cameras, and currently use a D750 with Nikkor lenses.  Once I capture the images I’m looking for, I process them using Adobe Lightroom Classic CC and Photoshop CC.  I follow an editing process that captures the true-to-life color and light of a scene at the moment the image was captured.

My work is available in a range of sizes and mediums and can be purchased on this website by simply clicking on an image and selecting a size.
